Black & Veatch, a company who is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, recently released their electric industry report.

The report includes data from about 500 electric industry stakeholders to form an analysis.  According to the KC Business Journal, the report contains information about the future of the electric field.  The sector will be exploring new forms of energy, such as wind, solar, and hydrogen.  These new energies will reshape the power landscape of our country.

Mario Azar, president of energy and process industries at Black & Veatch, stated "As the surge of clean energy fuels, advancements in energy storage and extreme weather events and wildfires continue to have a profound impact on the U.S. power grid's resilience, electric utilities must embrace the opportunity to innovate and repower themselves."

This is the time to start thinking and planning towards the future of renewable energy, and with a possible solar farm coming to Kansas City, we are on our way to a bright future.
